Faver High School alumni fundraiser for Langston University

Faver High School Alumni Association’s Wendell R. Mack Scholarship Fundraiser for Langston University will be held October 12 at 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. at the Logan County Fairgrounds. 

This event is open to the public and will feature Delta Dentals Captain Super-Tooth, free tooth brushes, blood pressure checks, movies, bingo, fashions on a dime, Thunder basketball auction items, toys, activities for kids, food and Faver Happy Hour. Stay and attend the dance starting at 6 p.m.    

The cost is $10 donation.

This scholarship is merit or need based and administered through the Langston University Office of Institutional Advancement and External Affairs. 

It is awarded to descendants of Faver High attendees who maintain a 2.5 GPS on a 4.0 scale. When applicants are ineligible to receive this scholarship, funds are awarded to an academic department  based on recommendations from the university president.
