The cleaning up process is underway after Monday evening’s heavy storms hit the Guthrie area. Students at Faver Alternative School were found Tuesday morning being good neighbors.
Students, along with their teachers, were found moving tree limb debris and trash out of the roadways around the school.
The students took extra steps and removed debris from some of nearby homes.
The community service was much appreciated by nearby residents.
Wind speeds reached nearly 80 mph and left several down trees and power lines.
As of Tuesday morning, over 3,000 Guthrie residents were still without power.
