It’s Fall Festival time at the First Christian Church and this year it’s loaded with new games and prizes. Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. the community is invited to join in this free event featuring 20 different indoor games and children receive prizes at every booth.
The top new games this year include the Duck Commander Decoy Booth, Chicken Chucking Coop, Stand-A-Bottle Coke game, Hot Wheels Raceway, Glow-Maze and Dart Gun War. There will be the traditional games of Cake Walk, Plinko, a photo booth and as always free hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies and drinks.
The event also features a Trunk-or-Treat in the parking lot. All participants can also register to win prizes including four bicycles, family board games, outdoor sports gear and a $25 Sonic card. Costumes are welcome but not required. An added feature to this year’s event is an outdoor Chicken Pen, which will feature “live” adult (human) chickens who will be caged as part of a fundraiser. They will be surrounded by chicken wire, and those outside the pen can purchase eggs to toss at the “chickens” in the coop.
Funds raised will go toward the church’s mission trip to Jamaica in May. For more information, call 282-4080.
