The Guthrie Forestry Advisory Board in partnership with the Apache Foundation will be holding a free Tree-Give-Away. This give-away starts at 8am on Saturday, October 15th and will remain open until the last tree is gone. It will be held at the Logan County Fairgrounds located at 1201 South Division.

There will be 1,500 trees available on a first come, first serve basis. The Forestry Advisory Board has requested 300 of each of the following species: Maple, Pine, Oak, Spruce and Redbud. There is a limit of 5 (five) trees per household.

This Tree-Give-Away is open to all Logan County residents. Please bring proof of residency in order to receive free trees. If you are interested in volunteering to help unload the trees on Friday, October 14th, you can contact Betsy Randolph at 802-9088.
