Update at 3:10 — Due to the gas line break, the repairs will last through Thursday. Classes for Thursday, Feb. 7 have been cancelled for Crescent Public Schools.
The 4-H meeting set for Wednesday and the FFA Shadows on Thursday have also been cancelled. The Ag Booster meeting will be held Thursday 7 p.m. at the Ag Farm.
The home basketball games with Morrison remain on schedule for Thursday.
Update at 12:50 — Crescent Police tells Guthrie News Page there are no residences are being evacuated at this time.
Update at 12:32 — The line break is being labeled as a major gas leak on the school campus. All students have been evacuated from the area. Students in grades 7th thru 12th have been taken to the big gym.
Update at 12:29 — Miller EMS, Crescent Fire and Crescent Police are remaining on the scene until the line can be shut off.
Update at 12:16 — School officials are saying due to the gas leak, pre-k through sixth grade students may be picked up at CrossPointe Church.
Junior high and high school students may be picked up at the high school gymnasium.
To check out a high school student, parents are asked to call 405-850-2689.
The school district says buses will run at the normal time for students who are not picked up.
Update at 12:01 — Second through sixth grade students have been moved to CrossPointe Assembly, only as a precaution, according to a Crescent school teacher.

A gas line break has been reported by Crescent Public Schools near their school site.
School officials say they are waiting on ONG to arrive and assess if it can be quickly fixed.
The line broke just before 11:30 a.m. in the construction site near the elementary gym.
In the meantime, students have been moved to the high school gym and cafeteria as a safety precaution.
Law enforcement is attempting to open up a nearby church for students to go in.
