The Guthrie Fire Department hosted the Wednesday morning Guthrie Chamber of Commerce Coffee. Businesses and organizations shared what was happening with their groups and events around town.
Fire Chief Eric Harlow discussed the day-to-day routine at the station, services they provide to citizens and an upcoming car seat check in late April.
Many got to see the new rescue boat for the first time. The boat was part of a grant of $24,910 from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for a new RescueONE Connector Boat, trailer, control console/steering wheel, 40 horsepower Mercury outboard motor and a folding dive/rescue platform.
