The lone returning senior is Luke Dale, who turned in a pivotal final round score at state.
The Jays have three returning juniors in Luke Morgan, a two-time state placer and Division I recruit. Bo Robbins, the 2018 Suburban Conference Champion, and Luke Roach, a two-year starter. The squad is rounded out by the Hirzel twins, sophomores Brady, who turned in two huge rounds at state, and Jaxon.
After they return home from Texas, the Jays head to Ft. Sill Officers Club for the Lawton Mac tournament on the 25th with a quick turnaround to Jimmie Austin for Norman North’s event on the 26th.
In early junior tour action, Robbins turned in a solid top four finish at the 50-person OJGT John Conrad Spring Challenge.
Morgan showed strongly with a top 25 on the prestigious American Junior Golfers Association tour at the Hunter Mahan Invitational in Frisco, Texas, where he faced over 50 of the best golfers in North America.
The Bluejays are once again coached by GHS Hall of Fame member and NFHS Coach of the Year Ric Meshew.
Meshew indicated that the early season tour success of Morgan and Robbins are signs that this squad will be in the thick of things come May and the upcoming state tournament.
