Guthrie High School students raised over $8,000 during their Pink Week campaign for a GHS secretary and special education teacher who are battling cancer.
During a school assembly, students announced $8,238.21 was raised to help Janetta Hibbler and Lisa Kroth.
Kroth helped with the coin toss before the Guthrie football game with Piedmont.
“We love Ms. Janetta and Mrs. Kroth and continue to remember them in our thoughts and prayers,” Principal Chris LeGrande said. “Glad we could give back to these courageous individuals!”
