GHS will be represented by 12 students at Boys, Girls State

Guthrie High School has named 12 students who will serve as state delegates with Boys and Girls State.

State delegates is a summer leadership and citizenship programs sponsored by The American Legion and is represented with Boys and Girls state delegates.

Girls State will take place in Norman and Boys State in Miami (Okla.).

The week long program displays leadership and patriotism. Juniors are nominated and selected based on outstanding achievements, leadership and academic success.

The event is sponsored by the American Legion of Oklahoma.

Students selected from Guthrie are Zach Wilkerson, Trenda LeGrande, Brody Hinkle, Bailey Cornwell, Abbie Ball, Jackson Waddell, Easton Plagg, Caleb Nelson, Parker Raney, Cayden Nelson, Zeb Robbins and Carley Redus.
