GTV20 Cox Channel 20 is celebrating its 17th year of existence, and with the help of Cox Communications, has upgraded its digital signal to provide Guthrie citizens with a cleaner, crisper look to the Channel.
Human Resource Director Jim Ahlgren along with Purchasing Agent Jessie Bryan initiated talks with Cox Communications to improve the quality of the signal to the citizens of Guthrie through GTV20 Guthrie Television.
Cox upgraded cable lines and ran new wiring at City Hall from where GTV20 broadcasts at no cost to the City.
Through the City’s Public Access Channel GTV20, citizens can watch a plethora of different programming including city meetings, parades, events, festivals and special programming, along with Oklahoma-based productions such as Discover Oklahoma and many more.
The City of Guthrie plans to start streaming GTV20 live 24/7 on the web coming late this fall for those who don’t have Cox Cable.
So is this only available in metro Guthrie? We live south of Seward and west of Sooner and our Cox channel 20 appears to be OKC related. Is there any way we can get access to the Guthrie info?
