The Guthrie Police Department got to meet some kids and the kids got to meet some police officers before the start of the school year.
“We did this so we can interact with the kids,” School Resource Officer Jonathan “JW” Williams said in the McDonald’s lobby on Thursday.
“We want a good relationship with the kids and the community.”
Along with some artful coloring, the kids had several questions for the officers.
“We want to build a positive relationship with the kids, parents and the community,” Williams said.
