For the second year in a row, the Guthrie FFA chapter will be hosting the Blue Ribbon Champion Classic. The event gives special needs students a chance to be around animals.
The Classic is set for Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. inside the Logan County Fairgrounds.
This is a special needs livestock show for students who often do not the get chance to interact with animals. Last year, was the first time Guthrie FFA held the event and found it to be very rewarding.
“As a chapter, we feel like it is important to make everyone in our school and community involved. Not to mention the smiles it provides for all of our students,” a FFA spokesperson said.
The public is invited to attend and help support the Special Jays while they take on a new journey with livestock. The Blue Ribbon Champion Classic is sure to provide you with a warm smile and tons of fun.
