The 13th annual BlueJay Football Youth Camp is set for May and first year head coach Kelly Beeby is expecting a great turnout for the two-day camp. Beeby reminds the athletes and their parents that forms are due this Friday.

The camp will be held on May 6 and 7 at the BlueJay practice field behind Guthrie High School. A third day (May 8) has been setup in case weather interrupts day one or two.
2014 Youth Football Camp Registration Form
The cost of the camp is $25 and includes registration, insurance and t-shirt. The deadline is set for this Friday (April 24) for the registration form to be turned in. Payments will also be accepted throughout the week, but is not due until the first day of camp (May 6).
Forms can be dropped off at the school’s office where the student attends. Campers can pay on the day of the camp, but are not guaranteed a shirt. Checks can be made out to the Guthrie Football Booster Club.
Drinks and camp t-shirts will be provided, but the ball coach reminds campers and parents in order to get the camp shirt you must prepay. Shirts will be available on day one of the camp.
The camp is set for current second grade to seventh grade students. The camp will be overlooked by both the varsity and junior high coaching staffs along with current and former players.
Check in time will be from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and the camp will run from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
“The camp is to provide young athletes the opportunity to develop fundamental skills in a supervised, intense, organized and enthusiastic atmosphere. Our coaches want to ensure the finest instruction we are capable of providing,” Beeby said.
Athletes are asked to bring shorts, t-shirt and shoes each day.
