Guthrie fugitive says he will turn himself in on Facebook

UPDATE: Troy Anthony Takala was booked into the Logan County Jail on October 19th.

A fugitive from justice says he is turning himself into authorities and made the announcement on Guthrie News Page’s Facebook site.

Troy Anthony Takala, who has a Logan County warrant for an aggravated assault and battery, says he will turn himself in when he meets with his attorney on Monday.

Takala (09-25-1987) posted on the social website that before he turns himself in he wants to see his children first. Facebook thread

Guthrie News Page posted the ‘Wanted Fugitive From Justice’ flyer, that was provided by the Guthrie Police Department, on Facebook Wednesday morning and following several comments made by followers, Takala first posted late Thursday evening, “im innocent I tell yA..!;)”.

The Guthrie Police Department is asking if you know any information regarding Takala you are urged to call 911 or call the police station at (405) 282-3535.
