Guthrie Lions Club honors Students of the Month

Makaila Carey and Conner Howard, Guthrie High School Seniors, were recently honored by the Guthrie Lions Club as the Students of the Month. 

Makaila, daughter of Staci and James Carey, is recognized for her achievements as a 4.0 grade point average student, class valedictorian, Student Council President, National Honor Society and Homecoming Court candidate.

Connor, son of Holly and Jay Howard, was honored for his achievements in football, wrestling and baseball, Senior Class President, and 2013 Boys State participant.  He carries a 4.0 grade point average, is also a class valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society.
