Guthrie Noon Lions Club Adopts-a-Street

Recently members of the Guthrie Noon Lions Club completed another “clean sweep” of the city streets which they have adopted.  Airport Road and portions of Division are the focal points for their quarterly trash pick up.

Steve Gentling, Lion Club President, noted, “This is our club’s way to help make our community cleaner and more attractive to everyone. We joined the Guthrie ‘Adopt–a–Street’ program last year and have completed several “sweeps” of “our” streets.”

Gentling added, “It is a good project for any civic club or business interested in keeping of city looking good.  It is a nice mix of goodness: good camaraderie, good exercise, and good for the city.”
