Guthrie Schools announce November’s Support and Certified Employee’s of the Month

Guthrie Public Schools recognized their November Support and Certified Employee’s of the month at Monday evening’s Board of Education meeting.

Agricultural Education Instructor Marty Jones nominated and presented Michele Hamby, who is the financial secretary at the high school, as the Support Employee of the Month.

Susan Birdwell, who serves as the district’s transportation secretary, nominated and presented Ron Gillett, who is a seventh grade reading teacher at the Junior High, for the Certified Employee of the Month.

The Guthrie Lions Club donated a $25 Sonic gift card to each recipient.
