Guthrie Public Schools recognized their January Support and Certified Employee’s of the month at Monday evening’s Board of Education meeting.

Central Elementary school Principal Dani Watson nominated and presented Gary Oliver as the Support Employee of the Month. Oliver is a paraprofessional and works with special needs students at Central.
Guthrie High School history teacher Kim Barrett nominated and presented high school English teacher Angie Simonton for the Certified Employee of the Month. Simonton is teaching in her first year in the Guthrie school district.
The Guthrie Lions Club donated a $25 Sonic gift card to each recipient.
