The Guthrie boys tennis team will send both doubles teams to the state tennis tournament.
The No.1 dobles team of Andy Hartley and Seth Vicchio captured third place at regionals held at Cascia Hall in Tulsa. Meanwhile, Dalton Jones and Dakota Leach took fourth to punch their ticket.
The state tournament is set for Friday and Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center located at 3400 N. Portland.
#1 Doubles Andy Hartley and Seth Vicchio placed 3rd and are state bound
They won their first round against Tulsa Memorial 6-0, 6-0
In their second round they played Cascia Hall and lost 6-1, 6-1
In the qualifying round for state they defeated Skiatook 6-2, 6-0
In the match for 3rd place they won by injury default against McAlester
#2 Doubles Dalton Jones and Dakota Leach placed 4th and are state bound
They won their first round against Tulsa East Central 6-2, 6-4
In their next round they played Cascia Hall and lost 6-0, 6-1
In the qualifying round they defeated Grove in three sets, 4-6, 6-0, 6-2
In the last round for third place they lost to McAlester 4-6, 6-4, 2-6

1st round he lost to Grove 6-0, 6-0
2nd round he lost to East Central
In his final round he defeated Tulsa Central 6-4, 5-7, 7-5
