The final preparations have been made and its now time to kick off the Guthrie Territorial Christmas events throughout the month of December.
~Lighted Christmas Parade will be December 1, beginning at 6:00.
~Opening Night and the inauguration of our new Territorial Governor will be after the parade. There will be entertainment and the official lighting of the buildings and tree.
~Victorian Walk Nights are December 8 & 15, 5 – 8.
~The Sweet Adeline Chorus will be performing on the 8th! Free Concert! 111 E. Oklahoma Ave. 7:00
~The GHS Choir and others will be performing at 111 E. Oklahoma Ave. also on both the 8th and 15th!!!
~The Living Postcards (windows) will be a big hit on both Victorian Walk nights. We are expecting to have more than 30 windows this year.
~The Homes Tour will be on the 8th of December from 10 – 4! We will have at least 6 Victorian homes, including The Carnegie Library and Gary Good’s Magnolia Moon, which has been featured on HGTV’s “You Live In A What?” this month. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased the 8th at The Chamber of Commerce 212 W. ~Take a Candlelight Trolley Ride every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, beginning at 6:00, until Christmas. $3 each
~ The Pollard will begin performing, “A Territorial Christmas Carol” November 23 – December 23. www.thepollard.org
