Two Guthrie High School wrestlers etched their names into the program’s history books this season, as seniors Kaedin Herendeen and Bryson Hall both reached the 100-win milestone in their high school careers. The accomplishment highlights their dedication to the sport and solidifies their impact on Bluejay wrestling.
Herendeen, a two-time state champion, has been a dominant force on the mat throughout his career. His 100th victory is just another achievement in an already decorated high school wrestling journey. With sights set on adding a third state title, which would be a school record, to his résumé, Herendeen continues to set the bar for excellence.
Hall also joined the prestigious 100-win club, showcasing his consistency and hard work over the years. His contributions to the program have been invaluable, and his leadership alongside Herendeen has helped push the team forward this season.
Guthrie head coach Jadon Davenport praised both wrestlers for their commitment and leadership, noting that their work ethic has set a strong example for younger athletes in the program. With postseason competition on the horizon, the Jays will look to build on this momentum as they aim for success in the state tournament.
