Several fire departments were needed Thursday afternoon after a home caught fire. Additional firefighters were called to the scene with the threat of the high fire danger.
Just before 3 p.m. fire crews were called to 8350 Gatlin Drive, which is located south of Highway 105 and near Anderson Road.
The home appears to be a total loss.
Fire crews were able to keep the flames to the home and away from a nearby wooded area.
The fire is currently contained as firefighters remain on scene just after 3:30 p.m.
Everyone was able to escape the home, including pets.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Update — The Guthrie Fire Department left the scene at 5:06 p.m.
