In an effort to promote junior golf, Cimarron National is hosting its first Jr. Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 21.
“We are very excited for this event and are looking forward to renewing the interest of golf with the youth in the area,” a spokesperson said.
There will be three age divisions for boys and girls. The entry fee is $25 for ages 15 – 17 and 12 – 14; which includes the 18 hole green fee, range balls and awards. Also, we are having a 9 hole division for 11 and under for $20. Scorers will be provided for the youngest division.
Tee times will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 21. All paid entries designating age and gender must be received by September 17. Payments can be made at Cimarron National Golf Club, 500 Duffy’s Way, Guthrie, OK 73044. In addition, payment can be made at the pro shop or Exit Realty on Oklahoma Ave.
The course has a Tuesday evening special promoting family golf. This is reserved for families and beginners. After 4 p.m. on Tuesdays only, on Aqua Canyon, two 9 hole fees with cart for $25. This special will run through September. For more information you may call 282-7888 and ask for Darla.
