Kingfisher pins Guthrie in second dual of the season

The Guthrie Bluejay wrestling team got back on the mat for the second time this season and for the first in 2016 with a trip to Kingfisher.

Kingfisher took advantage of five pins to send the Jays to 0-2 on the young season with a 52-28 win on Jan. 5.

Guthrie’s Tyler Musil picked up his second win of the season with a 13-5 major decision. Alex Fields, Allen Tomlison, Colby Graves and Estevan Guzman picked up their first wins on the year.

After the first five weights, the Jays built up a 22-18 advantage, but Kingfisher put together four consecutive wins (22 points) and would never look back.
