Head Coach Pete Papahronis got a sneak preview of what he may come to expect on the floor after watching several of his players dish out food and balance food trays.

The first-year Lady Jays basketball coach is hopeful the assists and balancing off the floor are just as succesful as they were on Saturday at the Sonic on I-35 and Highway 33.
Members of the squad took time to car hop for tips and donations while bringing customers their food and beverage order from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Along with Papahronis, coach Sherrie Simek were on hand overseeing the action take place.
All tips and donations go to the basketball program for their upcoming season.
Papahronis thanked Brian, the Sonic manager, for allowing the girls the opportunity and appreciated the opportunity.
Both the girls and boys teams will officially begin practice this week for the 2012-13 season.
