The Noble Bears were first on the on the board Wednesday afternoon, but the Guthrie Lady Jays quickly tied the game and the stage was set from there.
Karrah Dean homered in the first inning with Trenda LeGrande on base and went ahead in the second inning to grab the lead on its way to a 7-5 victory over Noble.
Drew Dodgion was the winning pitcher. She surrendered four runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out six.
Dean threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen recording the last three outs to earn the save.
Guthrie racked up nine hits in the game.
Dean went 2-2 with three RBI’s until intentionally walked for the rest of her at bats.
Karlie Huffer was impressive securing a single and a double. Freshman Elaina Clark got a double. Seniors Zoie Morrison and Taylor Bolding both got a single with an RBI, while the LeGrande sisters (Trenda and Trinity) collected a single apiece.
