Here is a list of some of the road closures due to flooding:

Do not go around barricades and do not drive into water.

So much for the new Viaduct keeping 33 open during flooding.
I wish I would’ve known that all those roads were being closed I have children that work in Guthrie and live in crescent and my children couldn’t get home had to get a hotel room
Thank you for the information.
Bad remarks about viaduct. They really know how much rain we are going to get. Shame on them for not knowing what mother nature brings. It might take a little effort to drive to Edmond and cut across to 74 to get home. We did it just fine . Just thank the Lord your kids are safe.
Prayer go out to everyone.
I agree with the first post, so what are they going to do now!!!!
Can we play disc golfing at highland park?
I think some folks might have some unrealistic expectations for the new road & bridge. If we didn’t have the new road, the old road would have been closed earlier and for a lot longer period of time with this type of rain. So the improvements made recently might not ELIMINATE the road closures due to flooding, but it surely will REDUCE the frequency and duration of closures.
Also, the old bridge really did have pieces of concrete the size of cinder blocks falling out of the bottom of it when big trucks drove over it. My husband was almost hit by a falling chunk of bridge in 2014 LOL(funny now, wasn’t funny at the time). So it needed to be replaced, even if the new road does close when the Cottonwood floods.
