Local Cadet graduates from West Point

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cadet Richard Beck, son of Paul and Melissa Beck of Prescott, Arkansas, and grandson of Raymond and Mary Beck of Guthrie, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 28.

Richard BeckBeck graduated from Prescott High School in 2010. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in American Politics and French. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and will report to Fort Benning, Georgia, for his first assignment.

The U.S. Military Academy is a four-year co-educational federal undergraduate liberal arts college located 50 miles north of New York City.
