A Logan County man is the third death for the county due to COVID-19, according to state health officials on Tuesday.
The Oklahoma State Health Department (OSDH) recorded seven deaths in the state within the past 24 hours, including the Logan County man said to be in the 50-64 age group.
The first death in the county came on April 29 and the second on October 2.
For the state, 1,451 have died from the virus.
For Logan County, 995 people have tested positive for the virus with 879 recoveries for the county that has an estimated 48,000 population.
Since Nov. 1, there have been 105 confirmed cases in the county.
Currently there are 113 current confirmed cases in the county, including 68 within the Guthrie area.
