Emergency crews responded to northern Logan County early Tuesday morning after a man was struck by a vehicle. Officials say the incident involved a couple.
Crews responded near Dover Crescent Road and County Line Road at around 4:30 a.m. after a female had struck a male with a vehicle.
The couple involved were believed to have been engaged in domestic disputes for some time.
According to investigators, the female went to a friend’s house in Crescent when the male called and told her to come home. Upon her arrival, the male allegedly began to attack the female inside the vehicle. That is when she put the vehicle in reverse and ran over the male.
He died as results of his injuries.
Officials believe the act was not intentional, but a full investigation is under way.
