Man killed in Logan County identified; three in custody

The man who was killed in a brutal stabbing in rural Logan County has been identified. The victim’s mother says she is “heartbroken.”

Adam Harrison was killed early Monday morning when he was attacked by two men. He was 28.

Harrison, along with his girlfriend and child, were allowed to stay at a home by the homeowner of 8980 Ridgecrest Road. The homeowner also allowed two Hispanic males to stay in the home.

Investigators tell Guthrie News Page that some sort of altercation occurred and the two males are believed to have attempted to steal Harrison’s vehicle. Harrison was stabbed in the stomach and died outside the house.

HarrisonHarrison’s mother shared a Guthrie News Page social media post and posted “My heart is broken. My son Adam was taken from us much too soon.”

In a Facebook post about himself, Harrison says his daughter kept him going during tough times.

“Times are rough right now but theres [sic] one thing that keeps me goin [sic] everyday and her name is Sydni, my beautiful daughter who i love so much.”

Sheriff officials say three people of interest are in custody and are searching for a fourth person. More details could come as early as Tuesday.
