Logan County deputies were forced to use tazers Friday morning after a male threaten to kill officers once they arrived to a home.
Deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic call at 3205 Lakewood Drive. As the 911 call was made the suspect, Brandon Scott Greenlee, was heard stating that he would kill any officers that arrived on the call.
As the deputies arrived on scene, Greenlee’s mother appeared to have been assaulted and that’s when Greenlee made a charge toward the deputies.
Det. Greg Valenica says Greenlee, 22, ran toward the officers and attempted to assault them. The officers’ tazered the suspect, but the attempt was ineffective. Shortly after he was taken into custody.
Guthrie EMS was dispatched to the scene for Greenlee, who reportedly had a head injury following the scuffle.
Valencia says it is unknown at this time if Greenlee has a history of mental health issues.
He was booked into the Logan County Jail with charges of interrupting a 911 call, domestic assault and battery, assault and battery on an officer and obstruction by disregarding a lawful order.
