An arrest warrant was filed Wednesday afternoon for a Payne County man related to a three-vehicle crash earlier this year that killed one person and seriously injured another.
The warrant, filed in Logan County by the Logan County District Attorney’s Office, comes after a February 11 crash that took place on State Highway 33.
45-year-old Gayle Lynn Lanoy, of Piedmont and a Cedar Valley resident, died due to internal and external injuries.
The second victim was identified as 39-year-old Christopher Wayne Easley of Edmond. Easley was transported to OU Medical Center by a medical helicopter. Easley, a volunteer firefighter, was admitted in critical condition with arm, leg, internal and external injuries.

The third vehicle involved was a 2019 Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by 57-year-old Hurcel Newton McCutcehn (who was not injured), of Tryon, Okla.
According to online records, McCutcehn has been charged with either manslaughter in the first degree, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating drugs, or in the alternative manslaughter in the first degree, failure to devote full time and attention.
The bond amount is listed at $50,000.
