Meridian Technology Center to host free “Getting to the Top of Google” course

GUTHRIE, Okla. – With the rise of online business, ranking well on Google is vital. For many people, search engine optimization and pay-per-click advertising can feel overwhelming.

On March 30, John Greer will present “Getting to the Top of Google” at the Meridian Technology Center South Campus in Guthrie. This free two-hour course is designed to help businesses improve their searchability.  

The course will explore the various methods of helping your business rank high on Google or other search engines. It will focus on four main areas: Google Ads and the rising impact of artificial intelligence, Google Business Profile listings, SEO, and the future of digital marketing.

Greer has been a Google Partner since 2010 and manages Google search advertising for dozens of clients throughout the U.S. His expertise includes Google Ads Search, search engine marketing and SEO.

“Online marketing can sometimes feel overwhelming. We’ll share some easy strategies to help,” said Randall Smith, Coordinator of Instructional Technology and Computer Training Services. “Whether you own a small business or are an aspiring influencer, we hope this class makes it easier. Ultimately, customers have to find your business to buy your products.”
