Meridian’s South Campus in Guthrie to begin offering classes March 21

We are excited for Meridian’s South Campus in Guthrie to open on March 21. We recently moved into the building and are getting in new furniture and equipment daily. To learn more about the South Campus we’ve set up a page where you can view all of the details at meridiantech.edu/southcampus.

As part of the Guthrie Chamber Coffee on April 6, we’ll be hosting a ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. Immediately following, our team will be available until 4 p.m. to provide tours, visit about upcoming courses and share with you all of the exciting things taking place on the campus. We’d love to see you there.

Meridian has been active in serving residents of the Guthrie community since joining the district many years ago. Now we’re excited to have a physical presence in the community. We hope you’ll find something that fits your needs among our variety of offerings.

Personal and Professional Development Short Courses

The South Campus will offer a wide variety of short courses for personal and professional development. Some of our offerings will include health care skills training, computers and technology, cooking classes, business and entrepreneurial services, adult basic education including free GED and HiSet test preparation, supervisory development, film crew skills for set construction as well as lighting and electrical, and much more. Daytime and evening classes are available to help accommodate busy schedules. A full listing of course offerings at the South Campus will soon be available at meridiantech.edu/southcampus.

Their services include business consultation and coaching; workshops, programs and networking opportunities; and in a few months our co-working space will open with fiber internet, endless coffee and private meeting space available on a daily rate. In addition, The Peak serves as a business incubator with 10 furnished offices that include numerous built-in amenities and three industrial manufacturing bays, each with an office and storage room. We are eager for you to bring your laptop and work on site or tour our space to see if it is the right fit to locate your business.
