The search for a missing Guthrie man has come to a heartbreaking end. Authorities have confirmed that 44-year-old Brandon Scott Millikan was found deceased following a single-vehicle crash in rural Logan County.
Millikan was last seen on the afternoon of May 14, around 1:30 p.m., near the intersection of Highway 33 and Post Road. He was reported missing later that day, prompting a widespread effort by law enforcement and community members to locate him. Millikan was believed to be driving a bright green 2004 Jeep Wrangler at the time of his disappearance.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), Millikan’s vehicle was discovered late Friday night south of the intersection of Douglas Boulevard and County Road 74, just outside of Guthrie. Investigators say his Jeep departed the roadway to the left, overturned, and came to rest on its top in a creek bed.
Emergency personnel pronounced Millikan deceased at the scene. He was later transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City. The report notes that he was partially ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Trooper Jackson of the OHP Metro Detachment, with assistance from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Guthrie Fire Department.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement expressing their condolences:
“It is with profound sadness that we share this information. Brandon Millikan’s Jeep was found crashed in Logan County last night.
