Mother: “They all left with smiles and love you mom”

The unimaginable happened to a mother of three on Sunday morning. Brandy Stallworth received the heartbreaking message that her three children were lost in a single vehicle accident.

“This morning (Sunday) as many as you know tragedy struck our little family. I lost all three of my children in a single car wreck,” Brandy Stallworth said in a social media post.

Barkley Simpson, Fidel Simpson and Dariahawn Simpson had went to Stillwater to celebrate’s Fidel’s 25th birthday. However, on their return the vehicle went off the roadway killing all three near Perkins. Related article: OHP: 3 people die in early morning vehicle accident

“Now my children have gained their wings,” the mother said.

All three of the Simpson’s were graduates of Coyle High School and participated in athletics.

Daviahawn played football, while Fidel, 25, served in the Marines and a stand-out on the basketball court for the Bluejackets.

Fidel told his mom about turning 25 years old, “I need to think about marriage and children.”

Barkley leaves behind two children.

Stallworth recalls her children leaving for the final time.

“They all left with smiles and love you mom. Words can’t express how I feel but I know my faith in God tells me I will join them one day.”

The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 8 inside the Coyle School Gymnasium located at 201 East Bond Street. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
