The State Department of Health, on Thursday, reported the eighth COVID-19 case for Logan County. The new case is the first for the county since April 7.
Additional information on the age range, gender or recoveries for each county have not been made available by local or state health departments.
On Thursday, OSDH reported a total of 2,357 confirmed cases throughout the state. However, the latest numbers show 1,240 recoveries, including 85 new recoveries.
The death toll for the state has risen to 131 with no deaths reported in Logan County.
Oklahoma County has the highest amount of reported cases with 497 and 22 deaths.
As of Thursday, 64 counties have reported at least one COVID-19 case.
Governor Kevin Stitt announced on Wednesday he plans to slowly reopen Oklahoma and the extension of the state’s safer-at home order through May 6 for the vulnerable. Non-essential businesses will remain closed until at least April 30.
