Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in the 4000 block of Hillside Lane near the intersection of Pennsylvania and Charter Oak Tuesday afternoon.
At 1:40 p.m., the Oak Cliff Fire Department quickly responded to the scene, requesting additional assistance from Deer Creek, Edmond, and Guthrie fire departments. Thanks to the swift and coordinated efforts of these teams, the fire was contained and extinguished before it could spread further.
No injuries were reported, and all cats and dogs in the home were safely rescued.
Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by an electrical issue.
Logan County Emergency Management was also on the scene, providing essential support to the affected family, including assistance from the American Red Cross.
