OCFD names Hutsenpiller as new fire chief

The Oak Cliff Fire Department (OCFD) has named their new fire chief.

On Monday, the fire department named Blake Hutsenpiller as the Oak Cliff Fire Chief. Previously, he served as a lieutenant with the department.

Hutsenpiller is a 10-year veteran of the department serving the last five years as one of the full time members.

OCFD was created in 1982 and in 2013 became a combination fire department consisting of a mixture of full-time career and volunteer fire fighters.

The fire department is located at 13425 S. Bryant and covers 38 square miles in Southern Logan County.
