ODOT to tear down Seward Road bridge; highway to be redirected

Bookmark and Share

Now with the new Seward Road bridge built, it is now time for the older bridge to come down and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation has announced when that will happen.

ODOT announced that I-35 will be closed down in the area while contractors tear down the older overpass on October 5th beginning at 8 p.m. and reopened on October 8th at 5 a.m. One lane will be open in each direction.

Seward Road will be closed during the time.

During the time it is closed, traffic will be redirected to the on and off ramps at the Seward Road exits.

Traffic congestion is expected and finding an alternate route during the closure is suggested.
