With assistance Cynthia Klumpp and the OSU Extension Office, students at Faver School are learning the art of cooking.
Wednesday’s class offered instruction on quick breads. Students completed recipes for corn muffins, biscuits and banana nut bread.
Safe food handling skills along with the importance of measuring and following recipe instructions were stressed.
The students are also working on cooking temperature and duration with the oven recently installed in the Faver cafeteria.
