On April 6th, the Pollard Theatre Company proudly opens the Oklahoma premiere of the Tony Award Nominee, smash hit, Legally Blonde: the Musical, book by Heather Hach, with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin.

The story is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial.
Theatre-goers will be inspired by a story of staying true to yourself, fully decorated with the Broadway tunes, dances and costumes which make Legally Blonde a true delight.
The Pollard Theatre’s adaptation of this fun loving musical stars Danielle Flesher Stephens as Elle Woods, James Tyler Kirk as her ex-boyfriend Warner and Jake DeTommaso as Emmett. The show is directed by Timothy Stewart and musical direction by W. Jerome Stevenson with choreography by Jennifer Rosson.
With 19 original songs, (most of which are sung by our heroine, Elle), Legally Blonde provides a fun, exciting, performance for the whole family. The musical will be showcased April 6th through May 5th, 2012:
Friday & Saturday 8 pm, April 6th – May 5th
Thursdays 8 pm, April 19, 26 and May 3rd
Sundays 2 pm,  April 15, 22 and 29
