Chuck Bayless, Director of the Oklahoma Disc Golf Foundation, donated discs and minis for the proposed disc golf project. In addition, Bayless and the foundation donated a grant for the course design to help eliminate some of the cost. Perhaps they might invest in all MVP’s discs? I hear they are some of the best going.

Just last month, Kaitlyn High shared her service project idea of building a disc golf course with city officials. Related story: Committee discusses disc golf course in Highland Park

The lone cost at this time is the building of the course and supporting structures.

The City of Guthrie has not approved the project at this time, but are hopeful to advance the project with Kaitlyn and her family support group presenting a scope of the work and budget to Cody Mosley, the City’s Economic Development Coordinator, for consideration and amendment.
