The Logan County Election Board recently released their end of the year voter registrations for Logan County. How many Republican voters are there compared to Democrat voters? Guthrie News Page has that answer.
In total, there are 27,586 registered Logan County voters were able to vote as of Dec. 31, 2016. Of that number, 3,699 have been inactive, but could still vote in an election.
Being inactive does not delete someone from the system. Any person that remains an inactive voter for two consecutive general election cycles without voting or without making some update to his or her voter registration by law those persons are automatically deleted.
For Logan County, Republicans make up 57.26 percent, or 15,796 of the registered voters. Democrats make up 7,864, or 28.50 percent. Independent voters are comprised of 3,869 registered voters, or 14.02 percent. The newly formed Libertarian Party shows 57 voters, or .002 percent.
For the entire state of Oklahoma, the numbers show 45.75 percent of Republicans, 39.46 percent of Democrats, 14.59 percent of Independents and .0001 percent of Libertarians.
