Juan Robles, a Guthrie Junior High School custodian, has been honored as the September Support Staff Employee of the Month for Guthrie Public Schools. Teacher Shurlyn Maltz nominated Juan, and his extraordinary work ethic and respect for his workplace have earned him this well-deserved recognition.
Maltz, a 30-year veteran of Guthrie Public Schools, shared a standout example of Juan’s dedication:
“The beginning of the school year usually requires a full day or two for me to come in early, clean, and set up my classroom. This year, when I opened my door, I was amazed to see everything perfectly in place. The desks were arranged according to my diagram, the boards were spotless, and the window sills had been dusted. Even my bookshelves had been upgraded to a properly fitting replacement, and all of my textbooks had been wiped clean. Absolutely amazing.”
This attention to detail and commitment to creating an excellent environment for staff and students alike reflects Juan’s pride in his work and his dedication to the school community.
