The Guthrie High School Homecoming Parade will take a slightly different path this year due to ongoing construction at Wentz Street and Oklahoma Avenue.
The parade will begin at 3 p.m. at the Masonic Temple and head west before turning right (north) onto Broad Street. From there, it will turn left onto Cleveland Avenue, followed by another left onto Division Street. The parade will then turn right onto Oklahoma Avenue, where it will reconnect with its traditional route by traveling onto 2nd Street and finishing along Harrison Avenue.
Residents and parade-goers are encouraged to plan accordingly and line up along the updated route to enjoy the annual Homecoming tradition.
