Sales tax dollars continue to stay above average

The latest Guthrie salex tax numbers continue to show increases.

According to Guthrie City Manager Matt Mueller, the latest sales tax deposit this month was $337,024. The deposit is an increase of 6.58% over the $316,226 that was collected for the same month last year.

Guthrie’s monthly average for the year is $328,172 and to maintain expected budgeted revenues the city needs to maintain a $305,000 average.
