A two-vehicle accident has sent one man to an Oklahoma City hospital via helicopter after his truck rolled over Sunday afternoon.
Crews were dispatched at 4:32 p.m. to a half mile south on Broadway off of Highway 33. Upon arrival, crews found a pickup truck rolled over on its side.
A 64-year-old man lost consciousness, but later was alert on the scene before being medi-flighted to OU Medical Center. He did not suffer any external injuries, but may have suffered internal injuries. However, he was stable and alert.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
A vehicle coming the opposite direction on Broadway may have over corrected and went into the lane forcing the roll over.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Logan County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene.
Traffic was stopped in both directions for nearly 70 minutes.
