The Guthrie High School season is underway for the Lady Jays golf team. In the first tournament of the season, Sarah Rhinehart found herself near the top of the scoreboard.
The Lady Jays took on the John Conrad golf course in Midwest City for the Carl Albert Lady Titan Invitational on Tuesday.
“We played out suburban conference within this tournament as well,” head coach Jason Rice said.
Rhinehart, who finished with an 87, finished tied for third in the overall tourney and second in the Suburban Conference.
Mount St. Mary’s Mikaela Rindermann took the individual medal with a low score of 79.
For the Lady Jays individually, Lindsey Ball shot a 100, Drew Dodgion a 102 and Kelsey Raney finished with a 121.
As a team, Guthrie finished fourth overall (410) and third in the conference. Bishop McGuinness took the team title with a 371.
